California Association of Neurological Surgeons

CANS is the only organization whose primary focus is to safeguard the socio-economic needs of neurological surgeons in the state.

CANS is fortunate to have many long-time Consultants and Directors on its Board of Directors who are very active in issues such as Workers’ Compensation, Trauma Care, Medical Malpractice, Physician Reimbursement and Carrier Advisory.  CANS also represents neurosurgery on many state and national levels, such as: the California Medical Association, the Industrial Medical Council, the Washington Committee, the Council of State Neurosurgical Societies, the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons.
